Hello You Sexy Swami Mami (or Papi),
We love and appreciate all feedback and questions – it helps us make Swami Mami Teas even better 🙂 A few common questions keep popping up though, so we decided to put together a FAQ to address the most common concerns our customers have. If your question is not listed below, then don’t hesitate to contact us directly, we’re happy to answer any of your questions.
Is Swami Mami Tea safe?
Yes – our products are sourced only from natural and organic ingredients. Swami Mami Tea should be used as a detox product, for the directed amount of time, following our strict usage guidelines. Swami Mami Tea works best when combined with a healthy, balanced diet aimed at detoxification.
Is Swami Mami Tea gluten free?
Yes – in fact, some of us here at Swami Mami Tea HQ are gluten intolerant. We made our product gluten free, so everyone can enjoy the benefits.
Can I still exercise while drinking Swami Mami Tea?
Yes – you can and we recommend you do. If you’re serious about looking slimmer, exercise should already be a part of your routine. If you’re not exercising already, there’s no better time to start than now.

Since Swami Mami Tea does NOT have a severe laxative side effect like other ‘weight loss’ teas do – you won’t experience any adverse side effects that will affect your ability to exercise. You will however, feel much more energetic, which will not only increase your desire to work out, but make your workouts better and more enjoyable, too.
Do I need to change my eating habits during a Swami Mami Teatox?
During a teatox, a healthy, balanced diet is your best friend. We don’t endorse any teatox’s that advise you to fast. We have included recipes and healthy tips in our News section.

We recommend several eating principles, foods to include and foods to avoid while on a Swami Mami Teatox, and for life in general, too. These principles will assist you in achieving maximum results from your teatox.
Remember to always drink pleanty of water. Take your body weight (lbs) and cut that number in half – that’s how many ounces of water you need per day. For a 150 pound person, they need to consume 75 ounces of water per day, and yes, the tea counts!
Are there any side effects with the teatox? Could it affect pregnancy or breast feeding?
The Swami Mami teatox does not have any adverse side effects.
It should slightly increase the frequency you visit the bathroom – but you shouldn’t feel much (if any) cramping. Your appetite may decrease and you shouldn’t crave sweet/oily foods as often.
If you have a reaction to the teatox (very rare) and experience nausea, severe cramping or diarrhea – cease use and consult your doctor.
It is always best to consult with your doctor before adding any new substances to your diet, tea included. Simply print the tea ingredients from our product page and take them to your next doctor visit. He will be able to advise you and approve the teatox as safe for you.
How often can I do a teatox?
The tea can be consumed on a daily basis. Some people prefer to cut back to 1-2 cups per day once they reach their ideal weight and use the tea to maintain their current shape.
We would recommend for a 4 week teatox, to take a 2 week break before doing another 4 week teatox.
Many people use our weight loss product as their everyday tea, which is a loose leaf tea combination perfect for adults. It helps maintain great skin complexion, stabilize their weight and feel vibrant on a daily basis.
Will I put on weight after the teatox?
That’s all up to you. If you maintain healthy eating habits and exercise you should’t put any weight back on.
If you aren’t strict with your diet, it’s best to have at least 14 days per month on the teatox in combination with a healthy diet and exercise regime. However, if you just want to try the teatox out, you should notice immediate results during your first 14 day cycle.
